Last weekend we had the honor of visitors to the Emerald Isle. They weren’t here specifically to see us, but, we did get to meet up and spend the afternoon at the Guinness Storehouse with them before they departed Dublin and headed on their tour around the island.
It started off as a sunny afternoon but the wind had a bit of a bite to it — especially near the Storehouse as it whipped in between the Storehouse and the Factory. It wasn’t so much cold as it was vicious! (I felt I had to justify my hair in the photo!) The views from the Gravity Bar were fantastic though–Wicklow Mountains, the Atlantic Ocean, and so much more from the windows that pan 360 degrees. Of course, the bar was too crowded, so I opted for my photo outside by the gate.
